For the moive soul sufer i thought it was an amazing movie the meaning of it was so powerful. It mabe me cry like three times! If i gave it stars i would give it ***** all the stars i could. The scene that had the biggest impact on me was when Bethany helped that little kid that wouldn't talk and he slowly moved closer and closer and finaly went into the water and got on the suferboard because i was not only sad but she got him to opan up and thats what everyone should do open up and exprss themselves! Let it out! I think the overall theme of this story would be never give up even tho your down in the dumps things will always brighten up or anything is possible on matter what. I was very impressed with the actors in the film because it would have been really hard to actually act this amazing miricle out knowing that it really happend to someone. Bre S.
ReplyDeleteI loved the movie soul surfer it was very touching. I would give it 100 stars or thumbs up! The Most memorable scene was when her arm got bitten off by the shark, it had the most impact on me because i dont know what i would do if my arm or someone in my family's arm got bitten off by a shark. I think the overall theme of this story is NEVER GIVE UP or NEVER SAY NEVER. Yes i was very much impressed with the actor's ability's i think it would be sad just to act out what actually happened to a girl's life.
ReplyDeleteSoul Surfer was the most amazing movie because it helps you to keep on believeing. I would rate this movie a 30 out of 10 because it is really good. The scene that had the most impact on me was the first night back from the hospital and they were all sitting at the diner table. They all went to hold hands and then her brother looked down and remembered that she didn't have a hand to hold, so she grabbed his hand and put it on her shoulder. That impacted me because it made the scene look very loving. I think the overall theme of this book and screenplay is never quit believing in yourself because she never quit believing that she could surf again. I think the acrors/actresses did very well because they took the time to replay a sad and touching story of a girl who lost her arm through a shark attack and then had the courage to get back out into the water and fulfill her dream. Sadie
ReplyDeleteI realy liked the movie. I would give it 100,000,000 stars if I could so I geuss I will give it 5 stars. I would give it a tumbs up. The most memorable part i remember was when the shark bit off her arm because it was very sad and looked very pain full. The overall theme of the story is to never give up on things you like to do. I was very impressed with the acting abilities of the actors in the film realy impressed. Because when she got her arm bit off she was so calm with it and the actors played every scene they did like it didn't even happen yet. Marybeth W.
ReplyDeleteMy favorite book we read was touching spirit bear. It is a very interesting book. The scene when Cole gets mauled by the bear is memorable because Cole learned a lot of things from getting attacked by the bear. I would recommend the book Heat by Mike Lupica because it is really good and is about baseball. Kyle, B.
ReplyDeleteThe novel i liked the best was fever. I think that Fever was my favorite because it was educational and fun to read. The most memorable scene is when the main characters mother gets dumped out of a wheel barrow. One of the most interesting books I have read was over the summer and the books name was East, I thought it was a good read because it had love and romance and suspense and things like that.

i thought the movie soul surfer was really good and had a nice moral. i would rate it an 8 out of 10..thumbs up:) the most memorable scene was when she was at her first competition since the accident and even though she didnt do too good she never gave up. i think the theme was everything happens for a reason and with bethany losing her arm actually hepled her become a better surfer. i think the actors were great except sometimes i could see where bethany's real arm (the actress's) but other than that it was pretty good:DD

I loved the movie Soul Surfer. I would give it 5 stars, and it was a great movie. I think that the most memorable scene was when she helped that little boy get back in the water and then a bunch of the other people came too. The little kid was funny and she was being really nice trying to get him to come in. I think the theme is keep moving forward. I was impressed with Bethany when she got her arm bit off. If I acted as Bethanie I would just start laughing because I can't keep a straight face.

i think the book i liked most of all was petey. it was a real look into what some people had to go through and it was a real touching story. petey was a really sad book but it had a wonderful meaning no matter what live life to the fullest. i think ben mikaelsen did a great job on making this book and would have a friend out of class read it because of how realistic it was. the scene when petey met calvin was probably my favorite because i thought he wouldnt be alone anymore, and it was really sad when they were separated but happy when they finally met again. i would like to read more books from ben milaelsen if i can because a lot of his bokks have a touching meaning in them.

I really liked the movie Soul Surfer! I really enjoyed the book too. I think the scene that had an impact was when we taught the little girl how to surf. I think the theme is no matter how tough life gets, it you beleive it will get better, it will get better. I was really impressed by the acting. I think the girl who played Bethany did a good job.

Soul Surfer wasn't my type of movie, diidn't lovee it that much. I probably would've gave it three out if fivestars, but i still would've gave it a thumbs up. The scene that gave me the biggest impact was when she entered the tournament with one arm because if I was in that position I would've thought that i couldn't surf again. i would say the overall them would be Follow Your Dreams. I wasn't that impressed with the actors because i've seen a lot better and in some scenes i could tell that the arm that got cut off was still computer generated, it didn't look real in some scenes.

I LOVED the movie Soul Surfer!!! I would definitely give it 5 out of 5 stars. The most memorable scene for me was when Bethany went on the missions trip and talked to the lady that lost her family. :( I will admit i did cry at that part. I also thought it was cute when she taught the little boy to surf. :) I would say the theme is to chase your dreams and once you have them, don't let go. I was really impressed with the actors/actresses because they made it really believable that that was how Bethany's family could really act. Anna Sophia Robb did a great job! Soul Surfer is my new favorite movie!!! *Maddie
